Home is where the heart is and my heart is in my studio.
Over the last seven years we have converted our 17th C Barn into
purpose built artists studios and accommodation. We are in a beautiful
part of the country with extensive views over the Wye Valley and out
towards the Brecon Beacons. We are surrounded by nature and
farmland, but within walking distance to the village of Ruardean.
Our local town is Ross on Wye which is only 6 miles away. Ross is
a charming town with many good restaurants, riverside pubs, hotels
B&B's and all the local shops and markets. The Forest of Dean
has plenty of walking, Cycling, canoeing, and many other activities and
visitor attractions, such as the Lydney Steam Train and Harbour, as
well as the Forest Sculpture Trail. There is plenty of
accommodation to choose from in the area, as well as accommodation in
the village of Ruardean itself. |
